Canadian Edition
A monthly report on retail sales activity in Canada. Based on figures from Statistics Canada and the Conference Board of Canada, the report includes category and regional data and analysis. The NRB's format includes longer-term retail category trends, monthly inflation data, and changes in the consumer confidence index.

U.S. Edition
This report profiles commercial sales activity in the U.S. based on the Advance Monthly Sales for Retail Trade and Food Services collected by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Conference Board in the United States. The report compares the latest monthly release of "raw" (i.e., unadjusted for seasonality, holiday, and trading day differences) commercial sales figures to those in the same calendar month of the previous year. In addition, a more detailed report including broad category subsections and analysis is available on a quarterly basis.
